Here, 50 apples ≡ 40 pears
Money for bus fare ≡ 10% of 50 apples or 10% of 40 pears ≡ 5 apples or 4 pears
He buys 20 pears. So, the rest of the money ≡ (40 - 4 - 20 = 16) pears ≡ 20 apples
